Husqvarna 701 2020 Specs

Interestingly enough I was able to get a bit more info on the planned changes for the Husqvarna 701 2020 Enduro. Given that the Supermoto is pretty much the same motorcycle, only in a different setup I think it is save to assume that will stay the same. There were rumors that with the introduction of 2019 KTM Enduro R the Husqvarna 701 could be discontinued – that is not the case. I have confirmation (from Austria) that the production will continue.

Husqvarna 701 2019 Updates

When KTM released the all new 2019 690 Enduro R, there were number of changes: quickshifter, traction control, lean sensor and different ride modes, many expected that they will come to the Husky as well. And now we know it is not the case. The only update we have seen for the 2019 Husqvarna 701 is the front suspension. It got the WP Explorer forks:

So which of these are going to change for 2020? It is still anyone’s guess. My bet is that none of the specs will change but we will see some (but not all) of the electronics coming to the Husqvarna 701 2020 model. What do you think? Leave a comment below…

yes it did! One of the reasons I hear was that most people are not comfortable riding “tall” motorcycles. In order to sell more (bigger market) they shorten the suspension and made the bike a bit lower. Also, they believe very few will hit the 250mm limit – I disagree!

I always would wait until the 2020 Husqvarna 701 Super moto has been out for awhile and throughly tested and rode hard. That has been my experience and has always suited me well. Nothing worse than having being stranded miles from home because of a $2.00 O- ring. Or something else.
