I decided to document the modifications and rides on my Husqvarna (Husky) 701 Enduro. The goal is to build the ultimate adventure motorcycle that will be able to handle anything from multi-day or multi-week trips with highways, backcountry twisties, dirt roads etc. To daily trips to gnarly singletracks and occasional an amateur rally or cross country race.
It can’t be fragile or easily breakable. And if it does, I need to be able to fix it easily in the field. I ride mostly solo so my life in some cases may depend on it as the civilization might be far and away.
Husqvarna 701 Enduro Adventure build
- RADE/GARAGE Auxiliary tank
- RADE/GARAGE Skid plate with space for tools
- RADE/GARAGE Rally kit – windshield with navigation tower, LED lights and fairing
- RADE/GARAGE Husqvarna 701 luggage rack
- RADE/GARAGE Husqvarna 701 lower pegs
- RADE/GARAGE Husqvarna 701 rear brake leveler
- Lowering Husqvarna 701
These modifications and parts make the bike much better for long distance travel and some like the auxiliary tank are must have for exploring remote areas. Other like the rally kit are both practical and esthetically. All make the bike handle better during long distance travel. Some could be argued make it even safer and all parts are easy to maintain, even in the field on your own with limited tools.
Husqvarna 701 adventure mods
These modifications are meant to prevent failure while riding or improve the reliability and the Husqvarna 701 Enduro performance.
And few pictures to show the results and the joy a well setup Husqvarna 701 can bring to your adventure travels via a few simple mods.
